Description
Overview
The Eames Segmented Tables Dining are dining tables with a round or boat-shaped top on the segmented Eames base. Vitra offers a round Ø1300 mm model and boat-shaped models of 2200 x 1100 and 2400 x 1100 mm.
Construction
A 25 mm top in solid oak, solid American walnut or HPL with black edges rests on a segmented base of legs, spreader connectors, spreaders, columns and spiders.
Specifications
2200 mm long, 1100 mm wide and 740 mm high (the model the configurator opens on); round Ø1300 mm and boat-shaped 2400 x 1100 mm are also offered.
Story
A table to lay
Vitra opens its page with the Eames home, where social gatherings were legendary and Ray enjoyed preparing a round Eames Segmented Table for each guest, arranging cloths, tableware, cutlery, vases and objects like a freshly painted picture.
Sizes and seating
The fact book gives the seating of the three sizes: the round Ø1300 mm top seats 4 to 6, the boat-shaped 2200 x 1100 mm top seats 6 and the 2400 x 1100 mm top seats 8. The 25 mm top comes in solid oak, solid American walnut or HPL with black edges.
