Overview

The Secret Garden table of 260 × 110 cm, H 75 cm is the large table of Roberto Lazzeroni's outdoor collection for Poltrona Frau. The page describes a teak outdoor dining table in a natural finish, for patios, verandas, gardens, terraces and yacht or ship decks, at home and in contract projects.

Construction

The supporting structure is solid natural teak without surface treatment, made of elongated beams with an under-top frame that carries the top. The top comes in two versions: a solid teak staved top or a glazed stoneware top in two colour variants, both with a solid teak perimeter trim with an oval edge profile. The supports are glossy stainless-steel tips with black ABS end caps.

Practicality and master craftsmanship

Poltrona Frau introduces the table as practicality combined with master craftsmanship. The sheet calls the structure of slender, organic sections the result of highly perfected cabinet-making.

A stoneware top

The page describes the stoneware top as two-tone panels in two colour combinations of hand-crafted glazed stoneware, a material it calls typical of Mediterranean design and tradition and highly resistant to adverse weather conditions. The sheet adds that the pattern is irregular and geometric, made by juxtaposing nine slabs in light and dark tones.
