Cafè Stool

Overview

Cafè Stool, dated 2025, is a stool by Piero Lissoni for Living Divani. It comes in two heights and stands out for its slender silhouette and enveloping profile, and it adapts to settings from contract spaces to residential interiors. An outdoor version exists alongside the indoor one.

Construction

In the indoor version the frame is steel tube with an epoxy polyester powder finish, in Gunmetal grey or burnished. The seat panel is poplar plywood with polyurethane foam padding, covered in 100% polyether coupled with a thermo-fixed polyamide velveteen backing. The backrest is woven with a hide profile or synthetic rope. The outdoor version has an AISI 316 stainless steel tube frame, matte satin finished, or the same two powder coats. Its seat frame is outdoor plywood padded with open-cell polyurethane foam under a draining fabric cover, and the weave is with a PVC profile or synthetic rope. A protective rubber profile on the front crossbar works as a footrest on all versions, and plastic tips meet the floor.

Specifications

Seat depth: 42 cm. Fabric or leather covers on the indoor version, and outdoor fabrics on the outdoor one, are fully removable with zippers by unscrewing the seat from the frame.
