Description

Overview

Bézier Outdoor is a family of outdoor coffee tables with fluid and unusual shapes, designed by Marcio Kogan and Studio MK27 for Minotti after the geometries of the Bézier parametric curve. A central stainless steel frame supports a stone top with rounded edges.

Construction

  • Top: Travertine, 30 mm thick, contoured, filled and smoothed; or Pierre Bleue, 30 mm thick, contoured and smoothed, with an underpanel in matt black HPL, 15 mm thick
  • Stain resistance: the tops are treated against stains, which does not ensure total protection
  • Base: stainless steel varnished Bronze, polished or with a textured effect; a stainless-steel support structure clad in 2 mm stainless-steel sheet, with a stainless-steel counterweight inside for added stability
  • Feet: adjustable, black SEBS

Specifications

  • 2 top finishes
  • 2 base finishes

Story

Shapes drawn from a parametric curve

Studio MK27 followed the geometries of the Bézier parametric curve for this family of outdoor coffee tables. The organic volumes and curvilinear silhouette make them highly versatile, easy to overlap each other and combinable with furnishings of different styles.

Stone on a counterweighted base

The stone top has rounded edges and sits on a central stainless steel frame. Inside the Bronze base, a stainless-steel counterweight adds stability.
