Overview

The Archibald Denim Edition gives Jean-Marie Massaud's Archibald armchair a new cover in Everdenim, an organic cotton jacquard fabric with the twill structure of denim. It dates from 2024. Construction

Steel forms the structure, elastic belts are the suspension, and the padding combines two kinds of polyurethane foam with polyester wadding. Four cast aluminium feet are connected to a tubular steel frame in the antique bronze finish. The fabric cover is not removable.

Why denim

The page's concept text says that denim, created 150 years ago, has become a protagonist of fashion and that blue jeans remain one of the most universal symbols of the American myth.
