Story

A centenary re-edition

Albero GFF 100 is a special re-edition of the Albero bookcase, issued to mark one hundred years since Gianfranco Frattini's birth. The original was conceived in the late 1950s as a floor-to-ceiling, freestanding room divider.

Two woods

The edition combines Santos rosewood for the shelves with American Brown walnut for the central column, a particularly dark wood. The joining of the two species calls for cabinetmaking expertise, and the pillars are drilled at regular intervals to take the twelve shelves.
