Story
A shade that can be aimed
Louis Poulsen's light concept says the fixture emits downward directed light and that the shade angle can be changed by about 90° up or down and 60° to either side, which optimizes the light distribution. Painting the inside of the shade white ensures a soft comfortable light.
Switch, cord and brass
The EU cut sheet describes two routes: with cord, a 2.4 m cord with plug; without cord, a wall bracket for hardwiring. The on/off switch is on the wall box, or the lamp is switched at the main switch. The US page adds that variants without an on/off switch are to be controlled remotely, and that untreated brass surfaces change over time and develop a patina.
