Collection Story
Origin
Serie Up is the seating series that Gaetano Pesce designed for B&B Italia in 1969. B&B Italia says that, right from the onset, it has been one of the most outstanding expressions of design, with expressive shapes upholstered with elastic fabric. A series of sofas and armchairs called "Serie UP" came out in 1969, a total of seven pieces.

Design Language
The solution stems from B&B Italia's technological know-how in polyurethane injection moulding, which the company gave the most appropriate language to express, turning it into what it calls a fragment of contemporary art for a wide public.
