Collection Story
Origin
Plastics is a Kartell upholstered range designed by Piero Lissoni; the data sheet pages in the library are headed Plastics Outdoor and credit Lissoni as designer. Kartell's pages describe the Liberty version as a new look for the Plastics sofa and the Trix pouffe, which gain fabrics made specially for outdoor use.
Design Language
The sheet builds the range from separate units and poufs that are listed by code. Under the cover, the padding is a newly softened polyurethane foam, and the covers lift off. Standard covers use a New Dyed Fiber outdoor fabric; the Liberty covers use Tamba, Obi Check and Artemis.
