Collection Story
Origin
Poltrona Frau's official Bob pages credit the family to Jean-Marie Massaud and state that the side-table family has been produced since 2006. The Bob Bistrot page describes its line as an expansion of the Bob family for more versatile solutions, including hospitality settings.
Design language
The family keeps a clean profile and the characteristic cross-shaped base while combining wood, Pelle Frau® leather, marble, steel and, in the Bistrot line, Fenix NTM®. Standard Bob tables use steel bases with three named metal treatments; the leg's upper section matches the tabletop treatment, or is covered in matching leather when the top is marble.
Key pieces
- Bob Coffee Table
- Bob Small Table with Drawer
- Bob Bistrot Round Table h. 110
The drawer model adds a solid ash top and drawer front, while the Bistrot page identifies six variants in its line.
