Description
Overview
The Bob Bistrot Round Small Tables are round-topped side tables by Jean-Marie Massaud. They belong to the Bob Bistrot line, which extends the Bob family of side tables and keeps the typical cross-shaped base together with a clean design and refined materials.
Construction
- Base and lower leg: burnished brushed steel, set on adjustable feet in matching metal with plastic caps
- Upper leg: steel with a collar whose finish follows the top; Canaletto walnut under a walnut top, painted under marble or Fenix NTM®
- Tops: Canaletto walnut veneer on birch plywood, marble with tapered edges, or Fenix NTM® on a birch plywood core
- Fixing: a burnished brushed steel plate attaches the top to the base
Story
An addition to the Bob family
Massaud's Bob side tables have been produced by Poltrona Frau since 2006. Bob Bistrot grew out of that family as a series of more versatile solutions, which carries over the original series' functionality, refined materials and clean design with the typical cross-shaped pedestal.
Wood, marble and Fenix NTM®
To the wood, leather, steel and Calacatta gold marble of the original series, Bob Bistrot adds Fenix NTM®, a hi-tech material with unique characteristics. The tops and the collar on the upper leg are paired, so each material comes with its own matching collar finish.
