Description
Overview
The Bob Bistrot Square Small Tables are side tables with a square top, designed by Jean-Marie Massaud for Poltrona Frau. The top sits on a cross-shaped base; marble, wood and Fenix NTM® are the top materials.
Construction
- Foot and lower leg: burnished steel, ending in adjustable feet of the same metal fitted with plastic tips
- Upper leg: steel structure with a steel collar, finished according to the top
- Tops: Canaletto walnut on birch plywood, Fenix NTM® on a birch plywood core, or marble with tapered edges
- Fixing: a burnished brushed steel plate joins every top to the base

Story
Part of the Bob side-table family
Poltrona Frau has made Massaud's Bob side tables since 2006. The Bob Bistrot line widens that family with solutions meant to cover every requirement, including hospitality, while keeping the cross-shaped base and clean lines of the original series.
Fenix NTM® beside wood and marble
Bob Bistrot brings Fenix NTM®, a hi-tech material, into a family that already used wood, leather, steel and Calacatta gold marble. On the square tables the top material decides the collar finish on the upper leg.
