Collection Story
Origin
Beetle is the GUBI family that grew from the 2013 Beetle Dining Chair by GamFratesi, the studio of Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi, who have worked with GUBI since the studio began. In 2025 GUBI and GamFratesi added Beetle Soft.
Design Language
Every version keeps one iconic silhouette: the fully upholstered dining chair, a meeting chair on a swivel base and the refined Veneer edition with a shell moulded from wood. Beetle Soft keeps the curved shell and slim conical legs and changes the upholstery to looser, wadding-style padding without piping.
