Overview

GamFratesi designed the Beetle Soft Lounge Chair, Fully Upholstered for GUBI. The page puts it under Seating, Lounge Chairs, in the Beetle collection; the table dates the design to 2025. The one item shown, 10143190, has GUBI smooth leather in Coffee (FL2972, Standard) over a Matt Black conic base.

Construction

In the specification table the leg is black metal on standard glides with a matt gloss of 3-15 GU. The upholstery is leather, rated 30.000 Flex endurance, and the shell type is Fully Upholstered. Foam and upholstery fire-retardant entries both read standard, the latter marked not treated.

Specifications

The drawings and the table agree on 62 cm wide, 78 cm deep and 76 cm high, and give the weight as 16.7 kg (36.8 lb).

Beetle Soft as a lounge chair

GUBI's page puts the lounge chair in the Beetle Soft line and names GamFratesi as designer. It describes upholstery in a looser, wadding-style padding, finished without piping.

Only one version is listed: GUBI smooth leather in Coffee (FL2972) on a Matt Black base. The table classes the upholstery as leather, and the item name shows the same leather on the front and the back of the shell.
