Collection Story
Origin
Bat is the GUBI chair family by the Danish-Italian design duo GamFratesi; the dining chair and lounge chair pages date it to 2018.
Design Language
GUBI frames the collection through Scandinavian crafts, simplicity and functionalism, and ties the shape of the embracing shell to a bat's wingspan. One shell is offered in several configurations, and GUBI describes the result as one cohesive design language across private, public, indoor and outdoor use.
