设计理念
Herman Miller 将其使命定义为“为人类福祉而设计”。公司将人体工学与姿态研究和知名设计师的合作相结合，并自 2004 年启动“Perfect Vision”计划以来持续推进可持续发展目标，包括在其畅销座椅中加入海洋回收塑料。
经典作品
在设计总监 George Nelson 的带领下，公司推出了 Noguchi 茶几、Eames Lounge Chair 及脚凳、Marshmallow 沙发以及 Eames Aluminum Group。Herman Miller 研究部门推出的 Action Office II 开创了办公隔间的先河，而 Bill Stumpf 与 Don Chadwick 则于 1994 年设计了 Aeron 座椅。

当下
2021 年收购 Knoll 后，公司更名为 MillerKnoll，该集团还包括 Design Within Reach、HAY、Muuto、Maharam 和 NaughtOne。Herman Miller 持续为经典产品推出重制版本，例如 2016 年的 Aeron 与 2014 年的 Mirra 2。
