故事
从钢腿开始
乔治·尼尔森希望设计一种金属腿，能够通过机械成型、预先表面处理、组装并可拆卸。滚压工艺赋予了钢腿弧度与锥度，也为这一设计赋予了名称。
两个官方年份
当前产品页面称该椅子首次问世于 1958 年，而 Herman Miller 的产品资料表则列出原始生产年份为 1954 年。由于官方来源存在出入，设计年份暂时留空。
