Overview

The Zabriskie multimedia cabinet is Roberto Lazzeroni's multimedia storage unit for electronic devices. Pull-out drawers sit above an open compartment, and the whole surface is upholstered in Pelle Frau leather. This version has three drawers.

Construction

The structure is wood. The drawers are birch plywood with compartments in Extra Light Maple, their fronts covered in matching leather, and they open with a push-pull system. Drawers have no handles; they project slightly upward to ease the grip and are finished at the edges with metal trims. Cable management sits in the open compartment under the drawers and lets cables leave neatly through the back. Interiors are always wood, and the projecting top is wood or marble.

Upholstered surface, metal trims

Leather covers the entire surface of the unit, and the drawer edges are finished with metal trims. The top projects beyond the body and is offered in wood or marble.
