Description
Low table 935
The Yumi low table, code 935, is Niels Bendtsen's 2019 coffee table for Moroso. Its round black-smoke glass top measures 80 cm in diameter.
Three-part support
Three tubular-steel legs are connected by three semicircular braces, translating Yumi's bent-bow principle into a light table base. The metalwork has a powder-coated finish, and polypropylene feet meet the floor.
Materials and family
The 935 is the largest of three diameters. Two smaller round tables use the same glass, base construction and three-leg arrangement.
Story
From bow to circular frame
The Yumi table takes the seating family's curved vocabulary into a structure of three legs joined by three semicircles. Those arcs hold the supports together beneath a round top, leaving the centre visually open.
Smoke glass above steel
A black-smoke plate-glass disc reveals the geometry below it. Powder-coated tubular steel supplies the frame, while small polypropylene feet complete the base. Moroso offers the same construction in three diameters, with code 935 identifying the 80 cm version.
