Story
Fan reference
HAY connects the Uchiwa chair's soft, open profile with the traditional Japanese hand fan. Doshi Levien translated that reference into the chair's broad form.
Upholstered shell
HAY specifies an oak base beneath a moulded foam interior and offers the chair in different upholstery arrangements and wood finishes. The measured version uses separate materials on the front and back.
