Trust Regular Desk

Overview

The Trust Regular Desk is the rectangular desk of the Trust office collection by Lievore, Altherr and Park. It keeps the classic rectangular shape and softens it with rounded profiles. In its medium size it also comes as an asymmetric desk resting on one leg at one end and on a storage unit at the other, and that is the version described here.

Construction

• Top: fibreboard under an oak TW veneer, plus a leather or saddle-leather pad for working; alternatively a leather or saddle-leather top built on a birch plywood core
• Leg: an MDF leg faced with oak TW veneer or leather, standing on adjustable black plastic feet
• Storage unit: MDF body with an oak TW veneered top; two filing drawers face the user, and a shelved compartment with a door is reached from the outer side
• Door: swings open to 155° and closes softly, with the braking force adjustable at each hinge
• Covering: exterior and drawer fronts in leather or saddle-leather, interior lacquered black

A rectangle with soft profiles

The Regular Desk holds on to the classic rectangular shape of the office desk and refines it with the softness of its profiles. Its legs are made of MDF, either veneered in wood or covered in leather, and are designed to allow cable management.

One leg, one storage unit

In the medium size the desk can stand on a leg at one end and on a storage unit at the other, which makes its plan asymmetric. The unit is supplied for the right-hand or the left-hand side.
