Story
Credited to HAY
HAY's product sheet for the Tray Table reads 'Design by HAY' and gives a design year of 2010. The sheet lists the table's highlights as a functional and flexible design for everyday use, a tray top that can be removed for carrying items, a lightweight build that is easy to move around, and steel in a range of sizes, finishes and colours.
Five models
HAY lists five models: Tray Table S, S High, M, L and Coffee. All five share the rectangular form and the removable tray top, and the sheet describes the family as suitable for a wide variety of private and public environments. Footprints run from 30 x 30 cm for the small table to 60 x 60 cm for the coffee table.
