The structure is glossy or matt lacquered MDF. Each lacquer type has 8 colour options, 16 in all.
Specifications
Overall size: 150 x 45 x 80 cm (W x D x H).
Story
The torii reinterpreted
In Torii Love, Studiopepe takes the torii, the traditional Japanese portals, and rediscovers them through new functions and meanings, here in the form of a console.
An architrave and two columns
A succession of distant visions and emotions gives way to essential elements that combine into an imposing physicality. A very thick top acts as an architrave, and two legs recall supporting columns. The structure is glossy or matt lacquered MDF.
