Description

Overview

Gian & Pan are a family of low tables by Studiopepe, inspired by the iconic windows of the Lina Bo Bardi building, SESC Pompeia. They combine marble and concrete in free-flowing, organic shapes and explore contrasts in materials and colours, with a dialogue between light and form.

Construction

Marble makes up the tabletop, while the legs are lacquered concrete. The tables are freely configurable: three marbles with different tones and veining are offered for the top, and three glossy colours for the concrete legs.

Specifications

The Gian form measures 124 x 122 x 29 cm (W x D x H, 0GINTB124).

Story

The windows of SESC Pompeia

Gian & Pan take their inspiration from the iconic windows of the Lina Bo Bardi building, SESC Pompeia. Studiopepe designed them for Tacchini as low tables that combine marble and concrete in free-flowing, organic shapes.

Marble and concrete in contrast

The tables explore contrasts in materials and colours, with a fascinating dialogue between light and form. Marble tops and concrete legs are brought together, and each table can be configured by choosing the marble and the glossy colour of the legs.
