Tokie

Overview

Tokie is a round table by Hannes Peer for Minotti. Minotti says it is distinguished by an apparent formal purity: a monolithic cylinder forms the base and supports a slender disc that serves as the top.

Construction

The top and base are 5 mm thick in polished stainless steel, in satin-finish varnished metal, or in polished varnished metal. A second top option is MDF, 20 mm thick, contoured and veneered in reconstituted Palisander. An underside metal plate fixed to the base is varnished matt black, and the table has protective felt glides.

Specifications

The technical sheet draws tables of three diameters. The smallest is 60 cm in diameter and 45 cm high.

The whole design rests on two shapes. Minotti's page describes a base consisting of a monolithic cylinder that supports the slender disc serving as the top.

Beside the Yves seating

The page places Tokie among the sinuous curves of the Yves and Yves Sofà seating systems. Three variants, in polished stainless steel and in two painted metals, are said to enhance the essential lines and to make it elegant and decorative, and a Palisander top is offered for the stainless steel base. Minotti lists Tokie in its 2024 Collection.
