Description
Overview
The Elyne "Bench" is the bench of Hannes Peer's Elyne seats. Minotti says it completes the family by translating its language into a more essential form: a rod structure topped by a seat cushion, with a paper cord frame woven in an envelope pattern.

Construction
- Frame: steel wire of 12 mm diameter, varnished in polished anti-fingerprint Black Coffee or finished in Chrome
- Seat: cord made from Havana Brown biodegradable paper, three strands of pure virgin cellulose, round, 3.5 mm in diameter and treated for greater resistance to moisture
- Cushion: polyurethane foam of varying density in a breathable bonded-fibre wrap, laminated to white hypoallergenic cotton; the upholstery comes off in full, whether fabric or leather
- Feet: black nylon tips; the glides are felt or black polyethylene
Specifications
- Bench: W 58 x D 53 x H 42 cm, as in the page caption BENCH 58X53XH42 CM
Story
The bench of the family
Minotti's bench page makes one statement of its own about the piece: it completes the collection in a more essential form than the seats. Its rod structure uses the same finishes as the dining version.
A paper cord seat
The page names the seat's woven cord as ecological: biodegradable paper in a Havana Brown colour, made of three strands of pure virgin cellulose with a round 3.5 mm profile and a treatment against moisture.
