Overview
Thorvald SC109 is a round outdoor coffee table in the Thorvald collection, designed by Space Copenhagen in 2026.
Construction
The legs are bent into shape, and the tabletop is spun from a sheet of metal and screwed together, with sound dampening tape added. The steel is galvanised, then powder-coated (steel), and the table stands on plastic gliders.

Story
Made for slower moments
SC109 is the Thorvald coffee table with a 115 cm round top, created for slower moments spent outdoors giving the collection a more leisurely way to be used.
Spun top and bent steel legs
The top is spun from sheet metal and the legs are bent into shape. The steel is galvanised and then powder-coated, and the solid steel frame resists corrosion.
