Description
Tavolo 08
Piero Lissoni's 2019 Tavolo 08 uses an ethereal, simplified language associated with steel rod and aluminium. Tangled thin elements appear as table feet and make the support visually light.
Anniversary edition
This numbered piece belongs to the limited group conceived for Living Divani's fiftieth anniversary and Lissoni's thirty years as art director.
Story
Art meeting table structure
Tavolo 08 turns slender metal elements into a graphic support beneath the top. The construction belongs to the lighter of the two object families in the anniversary edition, where chair legs and table feet share an intentionally tangled character.
First Tavolo number
Its Italian title retains 08 as the model identity. Created in 2019, the piece explores double weight and moves beyond a classic functional silhouette.
