Story
Presented in 1945
Fredericia describes the sofa as a classic Børge Mogensen design that was first presented in 1945 as a proposal for the "furniture type of the future". Its light construction in solid wood with removable cushions, the page says, means the sofa can always be renewed as needed.

Made in part in a protected workshop
Under product impact, Fredericia states that parts of the furniture are made in a protected workshop that offers meaningful jobs to people with disabilities. The same section says the solid wood will develop a patina if kept well and that the surfaces can be sanded down and restored.
