Story
A counterpart from 1974
The page presents the 1788 as Hans J. Wegner's answer to the Spoke-Back Sofa, drawn in 1974. It credits the chair's oak construction and its replaceable cushions for a look that is elegant and, in Fredericia's words, extremely comfortable.

Parts that can be replaced
Under product impact the page speaks of a circular design: parts are separate and exchangeable, so after damage they can be renewed, sorted and recycled wherever the chair stands.
