Story
Architecture in the living room
The Farns is a house within a house, a striking self-contained piece and an homage to the Bauhaus, as clear and innovative as the Farnsworth House by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.
From sketch to sideboard
Doubts about statics, glass and hinges greeted the EOOS sketch, yet the Walter Knoll developers made it work.
