Story
Made for the SAS Royal Hotel
The fact sheet says the Swan Sofa™ was made as a special model for the suites, lounges and the panoramic restaurant of the SAS Royal Hotel in 1958. It was in production from 1964 to 1974 and reintroduced in 2000.

Curves only
Both the page and the sheet stress the shape: the page says the design has no straight lines and so looks organic and soft while staying simple and strongly architectural, and the sheet calls the three-dimensional shape curve-based, like the Egg™ and the Swan™.
