Description

Overview

Starsky is a set of 3 stackable tables designed by David Lopez Quincoces in 2014. The top carries a delicate decorative motif, an interplay of shades and hues from dark to light.

Construction

Each table has a 15 mm MDF top veneered in three different combinations of wood, finished with a transparent matt water-based acrylic paint or, alternatively, with the woods dyed dark before the final step. The base is 3 lacquered legs in laser-cut tube section (Ø25/32/40 mm) welded to a laser-cut 5 mm steel sheet frame under the top. The steel is coated in matt black epoxy polyester powder (RAL 9017), and black plastic tips are inset in the legs.

Specifications

Diameter: Ø46 cm for each of the three tables.
