Overview
Stage is offered in rectangular, square and trapezoidal forms for placement between or beside seats. Its two bevel-edged shelves are joined by a metal support.
Construction
The 50 mm MDF tops use Light Brown Canaletto walnut, Licorice brushed ash, or glossy Moka, Cappuccino and Birch Grey lacquer. Bases are Black chrome or polished Bronze-colour metal.
Specifications
The selected standard-height rectangular version measures 108 × 50 × H32 cm. Rectangular and square storage variants move the larger upper top 25 cm to reveal a saddle-hide-lined compartment.
Story
A layered stage
Minotti describes Stage as a practical surface with a bold geometric character. Two shelves and a vertical metal connector produce the stepped profile, while rectangular, square and trapezoidal plans extend the system across different placements.
Reference to late-1970s Milan
The official page relates Stage's lines, shapes and colours to late-1970s Milanese design. It is also presented as a complement to the two depths of the Riley seating system, without being identified as a Riley collection member.
