Story
The 2011 sofa
Fredericia's product sheet dates the two-seater Spine Lounge sofa, model 1712, to 2011 and credits it to Space Copenhagen. It is a 160 cm sofa without armrests, sharing the open-sided look that the company describes for the whole Spine Lounge range.
Made for lounge areas
Fredericia writes that the range is meant for lounges where the furniture should reflect a professional quality of experience while holding a relaxed social atmosphere, and that its materials are used generously with subtle upholstery details.
