Description

Responsive elevated seating

The Setu Stool by Studio 7.5 uses two polypropylene grades within its Kinematic Spine; their differing properties tune recline resistance and load support. It works with an Intercept suspension surface or suspended upholstery.

One height control

The stool has a five-star base, a foot support that travels with the cylinder, and a 26.375-34.25 in seat-height range. Fixed ribbon arms or an armless configuration are available.

Representative envelope

The current official price-book drawing labels the armed Refresh stool at 25.125 in wide, 22.5 in deep, and 51.25 in high at maximum adjustment. The spine provides the recline response without a separate tilt control.

Story

Shaped by mobile work

Studio 7.5 responded to workplaces where people circulate among collaborative, informal settings. Herman Miller says the designers let those changing patterns shape the seating system rather than beginning with a conventional task-chair mechanism.

Less material, continuous response

The stool relies on the Kinematic Spine and suspended surfaces for movement and support. A bumper protects the Intercept version, while the Dipped in Color programme can carry one hue across the base, frame, arms, foot support, and column.
