Description
Overview
Quilt is a sofa designed by PearsonLloyd for Tacchini. It combines simple yet full lines, soft rounded cushions and a deep seat, a synthesis of modernity and classicism.
Construction
Under the cover, multi-density polyurethane foam is fitted over a wooden frame; the seat has feather cushions and the sofa stands on a steel base that is color-coated or polished. The final cover is fabric or leather and is removable. Vertical stitching runs across the backrest and armrest padding.

Between modernity and classicism
Quilt interprets a complex simplicity that comes from joining modernity and classicism. PearsonLloyd designed it for Tacchini as a sofa that harmonises different styles and definitions, leaving creativity open beyond any single style.
Lines, cushions and base
The simple yet full lines, the soft roundness of the cushions and the deep seat meet vertical stitching on the backrest and armrest padding, giving a sophisticated elegance. A linear steel base lightens the compact structure and creates a surprisingly light effect.
