Prado 2 Settee

Overview

The Prado 2 Medium settee is a Ligne Roset upholstery piece by Christian Werner, built around a single-piece, ultra-soft and quilted seat. Its overall size is L 2,050 x H 870 mm, and it is covered in a choice of fabrics.

Construction

The structure is made of three-layer, crossed, webbed chipboard panels clad in polyether foam of 40 kg/m³. Bultex polyurethane foam of high resilience, at 36 kg/m³ and 38 kg/m³, gives the seat a resistance of 2.8 kPa. The back cushion is injected foam of 60 kg/m³ moulded onto a metal insert equipped with elastic webbing, with a compartmented goose-feather filling of 10% down and 90% feathers and a layer of 110 g/m² polyester quilting. The back has an anti-slip system, and the lumbar cushion is filled with new goose feathers in the same 10/90 ratio.

A seat without stacked cushions

Prado 2 is presented as a single-piece, ultra-soft and quilted seat offering optimal comfort. It goes without the stacking of cushions, and its sleek, modern design can even be used without cushions, as a pure quilted seat of simple, refined style.

Quilting and seams

The quilted cover is sewn crosswise and has no seams on the seat. One seam runs through the centre, located on the settee's structure. The cushion cannot be turned over to become a bed, and the base is made as a single piece.
