Description
Overview
The Prado 2 Square footstool is a Ligne Roset seat by Christian Werner. It is one quilted piece, very soft, and can be used bare, with no cushions, for a plain quilted seat in a refined, simple style. Several fabrics are offered for the cover.
Construction
Chipboard panels in three crossed, webbed layers form the structure and carry a polyether foam cladding of 40 kg/m³. The seat uses Bultex polyurethane foam at 36 and 38 kg/m³, rated 2.8 kPa. A quilted cover sewn crosswise leaves the seat free of seams.

Story
One quilted piece
Prado 2 is described as a quilted seat made in a single piece, very soft and aimed at optimal comfort. The design skips the stacking of cushions: it is sleek and modern, and it can stand alone without any cushion. Its modern lines depart from the bed-settee function of the original Prado.
Quilted cover
The cover is quilted and sewn crosswise, so the seat surface has no seam.
