Overview

The 2000 range is a bentwood seating programme by Christian Werner, shown on Thonet's page as the 2001 armchair with the year 2015. It includes the 2002/C002 bentwood sofa, the 2002 H ottoman and loose back and side cushions.

Construction

An airy bentwood frame wraps around a floor-length seat cushion and forms the armrests. The brochure shows solid ash for the frame, lightly oiled, coated with natural wood varnish or stained black.
