Plot Room Divider

Overview

Plot is a modular room divider designed by GamFratesi for Poltrona Frau. Its panels can be folded as required to redesign any corner, and its most distinctive detail is the geometric patterns created with plaited leather.

Construction

The structure is aluminium tubing veneered with a moka ash finish (61), joined by metal joints with a matt brass finish. The woven bands are Pelle Frau ColorSphere leather, hooked to the metal tubes, and the divider stands on metal feet hooked to painted conical metal caps.

Leather plaited into patterns

The weave of Pelle Frau leather bands gives Plot its geometric patterns, and the bands are fixed to the metal tubes of the frame. Pre-established colour combinations decide which colour runs vertically and which horizontally.

Folding around a corner

The panels fold as required and redesign any corner with elegance, delicacy and discretion. A simple design lets Plot divide a home's spaces and give more privacy while it decorates the room.
