Kendall

Overview

The Kendall armchair by GamFratesi, in Minotti's 2024 Collection, pairs a compact outer shell that also forms the armrests with soft inner cushioning. A solid frame rests on a four-spoke aluminium swivel base, and a matching footstool is based on the same concept.

Construction

• Structure: metal coated in fire-resistant polyurethane foam, layered with heat-bonded fibre and white hypoallergenic cotton fabric
• Cushion: single seat and backrest cushion, heat-bonded fibre around a high-resilience polyurethane foam core, quilted to the cover
• Covers: cushion and structure upholstery in fabric or leather, completely removable
• Base: swivel, moulded cast aluminium, 360° with return

Specifications

• Armchair: 80 cm wide; the drawing also prints 93 and 73 cm without labels
• Footstool 67 cm wide, 56 cm deep

The footstool that matches the armchair features a central lowering, which Minotti says provides greater ergonomic foot support.
