Story
A chair for the Langelinie Pavilion
Copenhagen's Kastellet has a castle ground where the Langelinie Pavilion stands, facing the waterfront promenade with the Little Mermaid. The first Pavilion went up in 1885. The task Anderssen & Voll received, per &Tradition, was a stackable chair for mass seating in that iconic, multi-purpose venue.
Designed to endure
The brand ties the chair to the Pavilion's own staying power and calls it airy, its slim arms and legs giving a light appearance. Anderssen & Voll is a design studio in Oslo, founded in 2009 by Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll.
