Pavilion AV9

Overview

The Pavilion AV9 is the bar-height chair of the Pavilion family, credited to Anderssen & Voll and dated 2018 on the &Tradition page. Seat and back are wood veneer, and nothing is upholstered.

Construction

Bent steel tubes carry a formpressed veneer seat and back, and both veneer parts are lacquered. The metal parts are black. The manufacturer lists plastic glides as the standard fitting, with felt glides on request.

Bar height without upholstery

Pavilion chairs are drawn from a veneer back and seat that continue into curved steel tubes. AV9 applies that language at bar height, 750 mm to the seat, and keeps both the seat and the back as plain veneer shells.

Where it sits in the range

The fact sheet pairs AV9 with the upholstered AV10 and lists AV15 on the same sheet, so the bar-height chair is offered with a bare-veneer seat (AV9) or an upholstered one (AV10). Only AV10 has textile, padding and bushings to remove at disposal.
