Story
Wings for formal or informal sitting
B&B Italia presents Papilio as a chair and stool in two heights that can be used in formal contexts, and also more informally by leaning on one of the back's wings. The wings are inspired by those of a butterfly; "papilio" is Latin for butterfly.

Shell and frame
The page puts the formal balance of the chair down to the constant thickness of the shell and a seat that is sinuous in its upper part before it merges with the light steel frame. The cover, in leather or fabric, is removed with a metal zipper on the back.
