Story
A child-size version of the Panton Chair
Vitra's fact sheet says the Panton Chair had always been a favourite of children, which led Verner Panton to consider a child-size version together with Vitra over 35 years before the sheet's text. The idea proved impossible at the time for economic reasons.
Introduced in 2006
In 2006 the aim was achieved with Panton Junior, which the fact sheet describes as a chair based on the designer's original plans. Verner Panton's own website lists it under the years 1959 / 2006 and repeats that production follows his original plans.
