Story
A hotel concept in Marrakech
Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance conceived the Ottoman model during hotel design work in Marrakech, with the traditional Moroccan footstool as his reference. The hotel was never built, but Ligne Roset took to the oriental charm of the piece, which it describes with the words zenitude, comfort and wellbeing.
Quilting and colour
Ligne Roset credits the designer's work on quilting and colour with giving the model a modern footing that it expects to last.
