Overview
Dolmen is a set of side tables whose shapes recall forms lost in time and worn by wind, sun and rain, until they read as sculptures rising almost out of the ground. Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance created them with simple, primitive traits: smooth, perfectly polished surfaces, solitary or grouped together.
Construction
The top and the base/legs are both marble, in two marble finishes (T160 and T161).
Specifications
The reference model, code 0DLMTB131, measures 131 W x 65 D x 35 H cm.
Story
Shapes shaped by erosion
Dolmen is a set of side tables that mirror shapes lost in time. Wind, sun and rain sculpt such forms, and the tables seem almost to emerge from the ground.
Local stone
The stone is Breccia Bresciana or Fior di Pesco Carsico marble, sourced almost at zero kilometre as the French designer requested. Several tables placed together form a perfect interlock.
