Description
Overview
Orsola Armchair is Gastone Rinaldi's 1970 design, re-edited by Tacchini while retaining its original character. The maker defines it through roundness, comfort, tradition and innovation.
Construction
Under the cover, multi-density polyurethane foam surrounds a wooden internal structure. Fabric or leather completes the upholstery, while the visible outside support uses color-coated or polished steel.
Specifications
Model 0ORSPL090 measures 90 x 99 x 70.5 cm (W x D x H). Its two named structure options are T07 Black RAL 9011 and T23 Polished Chrome.
Story
Rinaldi's soft 1970 design
The armchair sets abundant backrest and seat volumes against a visible metal support. Tacchini's re-edition preserves that contrast while updating the padding for a contemporary version of the original.
Upholstery work renewed
Master upholsterers make the piece by hand as they did decades earlier. Contemporary foam sits inside the rounded form, while the exposed structure remains a defining visual element.
