Description
Overview
Orsola Ottoman is conceived as the natural complement to Gastone Rinaldi's Orsola armchair. Comfort, continuity and versatility accompany its rounded, generous form.
Construction
The upholstered body combines a wood structure with multi-density polyurethane foam. Its outer fabric or leather cover rests above an exposed color-coated or polished steel support. The visible frame adds visual lightness.
Specifications
Model 0ORSPF090 measures 90 x 80 x 40.5 cm (W x D x H). Upholstery spans 27 fabric ranges and six leather ranges.
Story
An extension of Orsola
The ottoman was developed as a complement to Rinaldi's 1970 Orsola project rather than as a separate reinterpretation. Its generous volume continues the family's rounded vocabulary.
Light support, soft form
An exposed metal frame holds the upholstered body and creates the balance between visual lightness and softness described by Tacchini. Modern padding updates a form made by master upholsterers.
